Personal Statement

I have always been drawn to primary care because of the long-term relationships I get to build with my patients. I firmly believe in the adage that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and so my approach to health is proactive rather than reactive. I tailor my care to the individual, drawing on diet, exercise, lab testing, and medication to achieve optimal results. My background in both economics and medicine helps me weigh trade-offs and find the right approach for each patient.

I deeply value my role as the quarterback of my patients' healthcare team, advocating for them as they navigate a complex system. I value my concierge practice because it gives me the bandwidth to practice medicine the way I think it should be practiced: more time, deeper relationships, and a truly personalized approach for each patient.

Outside of the office, I am an avid Knicks fan, and my greatest joy in life is my son Dev.

Biographical Info

Deep Bhatt was born and raised in California. His journey has taken him from Los Angeles to the Bay Area for college at Berkeley, to the University of Iowa for medical school, to NYC for residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, and now his long-term practice with AVÑо¿Ëù.

His specific areas of interest include obesity medicine, men's health, and cardiovascular disease prevention. He takes special pride in caring for entire families.
